Q. When will I receive my second shot if needed?
A. You will be able to schedule an appointment for your second shot after you have completed your initial appointment. If you received your first dose of the Moderna vaccine at another location you should make sure that you schedule your second shot at least 28 days after you received your first dose. If you received your first dose of the Pfizer Vaccine at another location you should make sure that you schedule your second shot at least 21 days after you received your first dose.
Q. Will I have to pay for the vaccine?
There will be no charge for the COVID-19 vaccine. We will bill your insurance for the administration fee. If you don't have insurance, you will still be able to receive the vaccine at no cost.

Q. What are the guidelines for immunocompromised individuals?
Recommendations for immunocompromised individuals can be found by clicking here. If you are immunocompromised, and received the first 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna you may receive a third dose at least 28 days after your second dose.
Q. Who is eligible for a Pfizer booster dose?
- people 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series,
- people aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series,
- people aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks, and
- people aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks.
Q. If I got Moderna or Janssen (J&J) do I need a booster dose?
Boosters for Moderna or Janssen will be reviewed for final approval around 10/21/21.
Q. What is v-safe and how can I register?
V-safe is a smart-phone based tool that checks in on you after your COVID-19 vaccination. If you got vaccinated in the last 6 weeks, you can participate in v-safe.
